Bible Pomegranate - Bible reading iOS app

The pomegranate is a symbol of the resurrection and the hope of eternal life. Because of its abundance of seeds, it can also symbolise the Christian church, where the seeds represent the many believers who make up the one universal church. The name and logo of Bible Pomegranate hints at the many possibilities in this application.

Bible Pomegranate is built with a deep understanding of readability and a focus on tactile interaction with the text. Here are some of the many features that bring you closer to the text:

“PureText” is a brand new way of showing annotations, cross-references and illustrations in relation to the Bible text. Annotations stay neatly out of the way until you need it, and when you do, they slide out from underneath the text, right next to the verse you are reading.

“Volumes” is your virtual workdesk, spaces that hold up to 6 translations for parallel reading, even reading 2 translations at once.

Bible Pomegranate lets you display the text the way you want. Select from the best Bible typefaces in the world, and combine themes and colours from the best Bible designers in the world for a reading experience that’s your very own.

The “ThumbWheel” is an innovative new interface that lets you instantly access any part of the bible with the touch of your thumb.

Arrange your translations across your Volumes simply by dragging a translation onto a Volume.

Bible Pomegranate is launched with Bible translations in English, Norwegian, Dutch and Russian. We will constantly add new languages and Bible translations to the InApp store and already planned is French, Spanish, Greek, Hebrew, Danish, German, Greenlandic and Faroese.

We aim to provide the newest and most high quality of translations in all languages.
